Good news for residents of the 40th Anniversary housing estate who shop at the Dino and NeoDom stores. Following intervention by the istotne.pl portal and councillor Mirosław Sakowski, the city authorities positively considered the councillor’s interpellation concerning a handrail along the steep road leading to the Dino store. As we read in the city office’s response to the councillor’s interpellation:
By the end of April this year at the latest, weather conditions permitting, a handrail will be installed along the road leading to the Dino market and NeoDom store on Starzyńskiego Street.
At the end of February, we reported that the steep access road to the Dino grocery market and NeoDom store was simply dangerous. There is no pavement or handrail for elderly people. The same steep road is used by pedestrians, drivers and delivery personnel, including passenger cars, vans and trucks.
For now, the city has responded positively regarding the handrail. We will see whether a pavement for pedestrians will also be built there in the future.
