A Completely Drunk Moped Rider Was Caught. He Claimed He Had Had “Only” 6 Beers and 0.7 Litres of Vodka

Despite numerous appeals not to drive under the influence, it still happens. Another such case occurred in one of the towns in Rudna municipality.

At around 5:00 p.m., the moped rider abruptly braked upon seeing a police patrol, jumped off the two-wheeler and began pretending to talk on the phone.

The police officers decided to check what had caused the man’s strange behaviour. It turned out that the 26-year-old resident of Rudna municipality was completely drunk; he had nearly 3 parts per thousand of alcohol in his breath.

Interestingly, the extremely irresponsible rider told the officers that he thought he was sober. The day before, he had drunk “only” 6 beers and 0.7 litres of vodka.

The 26-year-old now faces up to two years behind bars.
