On Wednesday, February 27, traffic police officers will conduct heightened operations codenamed “SMOG”. The campaign is nationwide.
The aim of the campaign is to remove vehicles from traffic if they are found to violate environmental protection requirements, particularly those concerning excessive smoke emissions.

Officers will also respond to other traffic violations related to the technical condition of vehicles.

Due to increasing air pollution and the resulting negative impact of numerous substances on the health and lives of both people and all fauna and flora, smog has become a global problem. Therefore, we should all try to comply with regulations concerning emissions of harmful substances.
