The man often contacted us about various matters. Under an article about a perpetrator who hit a drunk nuisance with a golf club while defending a woman, he wrote: “Bravo! An eye for an eye. A tooth for a tooth!” About a woman who killed her two little daughters with a knife, he wrote: “The death penalty is not enough!”

When we wrote about a reader who wanted to rent a place from the city where he could keep a wheelchair for his seriously ill wife, the man commented: “Maybe we could organize a joint campaign and renovate this room? Who’s in?” He received many likes for the post.

He was very interested in the city’s affairs. He commented on many events related to last year’s elections. He wrote that housing for young people was in short supply and often assessed the activities of municipal companies. He joined the discussion about the political rivalry between Bogusław Nowak and Piotr Roman.

I watched a live stream with Mr. Nowak, and he nicely said that people pass away... It was clear who he meant... xD. With such a mocking smile. And I said to myself... that something would f***ing happen in the next few days after that statement. And heh... Now the ball has been thrown back... I’m making popcorn and impatiently waiting to see what other news will emerge... I respect Mr. Nowak for Gliniada and Piwnice Paryska... Making something out of nothing... Honestly, I think Mr. Nowak would be a good mayor. I suspect we would have lots of cultural events... And now my advice... Mr. Bogusław Nowak and Mr. Mayor, give each other a beating and come to an agreement... Because taking digs at each other serves no purpose and only disfigures our city... Regards, and I’m waiting for the news...

Under an article about Polish Army Day last summer, he wrote: “When are they organizing it? I’ll go with my son.”

He also organized a collection for people in need in October last year.

Hello, together with the OSP [...] we are organizing a collection of donations for fire victims who lost everything they owned in a fire. I decided to organize the collection in Bolesławiec and pass the donations to the OSP for these poor people
Can I count on your support in publicizing this collection in Bolesławiec?
I am conducting the collection in Bolesławiec until Friday. Needed donations: clothing, footwear, school supplies
Those willing to help can contact me or bring donations to your editorial office [...] I once needed help myself, which is why I also want to help. [...] I would like to inform you that the collection of donations for 12 families who lost their homes was successfully completed. The donations were handed over to the OSP, where the local firefighters will distribute them according to the needs of these families. Once again, I sincerely thank you for joining this wonderful initiative.

In an email after the collection, the man wrote to us: “Regards to all of Bolesławiec, and I am proud that together we did so much good for others.”
