Officers from the Traffic Department of the Bolesławiec police unit, while patrolling the roads of Bolesławiec County, noticed a vehicle that failed to stop at a STOP sign and was driving at excessive speed in a built-up area.

After stopping the car, officers discovered that the driver, a 23-year-old resident of Gmina Nowogrodziec, did not have a driving licence. The officers’ findings also indicated that the woman might be under the influence of drugs. A test conducted with a drug tester confirmed the officers’ suspicions. The tester detected drugs in the woman’s body. The 23-year-old admitted that she had smoked marijuana.

Driving under the influence of drugs is punishable by up to 2 years in prison.
