A tanker truck and a van collided on National Road No. 18. The incident occurred near the 72nd kilometre of the road, by the village of Lipiany. According to preliminary findings, the van was parked on the shoulder, and the tanker driver drove into it. Clothing of various kinds fell onto the road from the cargo area of the damaged van.
Fortunately, neither vehicle's driver was injured. Firefighters from PSP Bolesławiec and OSP Trzebień, an ambulance crew and the police were at the scene. Traffic toward Wrocław is disrupted. Major traffic jams are forming. The disruptions may last until late at night.
Police are determining the details of the incident.
