On Friday (February 8), a 38-year-old woman infected with the A/H1N1 virus died at the Lubań hospital. The woman worked at the hospital—the Łużyckie Centrum Medyczne. The death of the woman infected with so-called swine flu was reported by the eluban.pl website.
Three patients confirmed to have the A/H1N1 virus were hospitalized at the Łużyckie Centrum Medyczne. The infection did not occur at the hospital. The patients were already infected when they were admitted. Appropriate safety procedures were introduced at the Lubań hospital. The hospital limited visits and suspended them in some wards.
