The incident took place on February 1 at 2:00 p.m. Police officers were called to a domestic dispute in one of the blocks in the Przylesie housing estate in Lubin.
When they arrived, they found an intoxicated man who was extremely agitated. Even in the presence of the officers, he threatened his family.
The officers established that the 59-year-old resident of Lubin had been mentally and physically abusing his wife and 7-year-old son for a long time. (A Blue Card procedure is already underway in this family).
In order to put an end to the ordeal that had continued for many months, the woman reported her husband for abusing her and their child.
The officers arrested the man and took him to the police detention facility. The troublemaker continued to threaten his family. Finally, he added that... he was a hooligan and would never change.
The evidence gathered by detectives from the criminal investigation department allowed the 59-year-old to be charged with physically and mentally abusing his wife and child. At the prosecutor’s request, the District Court in Lubin remanded the aggressor in custody for three months.
