We received an inquiry from a Reader concerning the removal of snow from the access road to the Dino supermarket on Starzyńskiego Street and the garages located farther along. The Reader claims that the road is cleared of snow sometimes but not at other times, and that Dino employees often clear this access road even though it does not belong to them. In his opinion, failing to clear this steep access road of snow will eventually lead to an accident. The access road is steep, and all it takes is for a car to skid for the consequences to be very serious. The road is used by both pedestrians and motorists...
We established that this is a municipal road, so snow removal is the responsibility of the municipal services. We reported the matter to the city authorities, and were assured that the road will now be cleared of snow regularly.
