The Bolesławiec prosecutor’s office is conducting proceedings into Monday’s gas explosion on Zabobrze Street in Bolesławiec. It is already known that the incident occurred when a woman was replacing a gas cylinder. An uncontrolled gas leak then occurred, followed by an explosion.
Residents carried the burning cylinder outside.
Three women and a child were injured. One of the women was taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec.
Experts in fire investigation will determine the causes of the tragic incident. Unfortunately, the house is probably now fit only for demolition.
