Before 3:00 p.m., an accident occurred on the Bolesławiec bypass. The driver of a Fiat Stilo was travelling from the direction of Wrocław. At the level of the Zakład Energetyki Cieplnej, he crossed into the opposite lane and ended up in a ditch. He and the car’s passenger were taken to hospital by ambulance. The cause of the incident is not known at this time. Huge traffic jams formed in the city because all transit traffic was diverted through the centre of Bolesławiec.

Two weeks ago, a more serious accident occurred at the same location. At that time, a lorry collided with a minibus. Three people were injured.
