Officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters arrested five people linked to a break-in at a workshop and warehouse building. According to the officers investigating the case, the incident occurred at night. After entering the building, the men took various types of fishing equipment and power tools.
Intensive operational activities quickly led the officers to the burglars and receivers. A total of five people are suspected in the case.
Three of them—men aged between 21 and 30—were charged with burglary. (The perpetrators acted jointly and in agreement.)
The burglars’ acquaintances, a 29-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, were charged with handling stolen goods because they helped hide the stolen items and find buyers for them.
All the suspects are residents of Bolesławiec.
The officers recovered nearly all of the stolen property. Its value exceeds PLN 24,000.
The burglars face up to 10 years in prison. The pair of receivers could face five years behind bars.
