The incident occurred after 8:00 p.m. at 4b Starzyńskiego Street in Bolesławiec. Residents smelled smoke in the stairwell, and the basement was smoke-filled.
It turned out that items stored in one of the basements had caught fire, including a mattress. Firefighters who arrived at the scene quickly extinguished the burning items and ventilated the rooms. Four fire service units were present: three from PSP Bolesławiec and OSP Warta Bolesławiecka.
Residents of the stairwell at 4b Starzyńskiego Street have not had an easy time. At the beginning of last year, firefighters intervened three times because one of the neighbors threatened to blow up her apartment.
