The Ministry of National Defence, after completing the military renovation of the Jankowa Żagańska–Sanice route, is planning another railway investment in our region. As the rynek-kolejowy.pl portal reports, the ministry intends to reconstruct the Zebrzydowa–Żagań route.

This route has been closed for years, and in practice a large part of the track infrastructure no longer physically exists. For now, the ministry is not providing details of the investment. “The information presented is highly general due to its sensitive nature in the context of the state’s defence,” it stated in the material sent to us.
The investment is expected to begin later this year.
