The incident occurred on Christmas Eve at around 10:00 p.m. on the road between Parowa and Osiecznica. A passenger car veered onto the shoulder and struck a tree head-on.
Firefighters who arrived at the scene found only one injured person with a head wound (the person was sitting in the passenger seat). It is not known whether that person was driving the car or someone else was, because it was impossible to communicate with the man. He was probably under the influence of alcohol.
Firefighters searched the area around the scene, but found no one else. The police are investigating the matter.
