In this unique festive atmosphere, on December 20, the 23rd Artillery Regiment held a Christmas Eve meeting for the regiment’s soldiers and Ministry of National Defence employees, as well as representatives of institutions from the Bolesławiec garrison.
The Christmas Eve meeting was opened by the commander of the 23rd Artillery Regiment, Colonel Grzegorz Potrzuski, who wished everyone peace, joy and family warmth during the upcoming Christmas holidays:
I wish you a peaceful Christmas filled with good health and a family atmosphere, and that the coming year brings you satisfaction both in your professional work and personal life.
The commander also thanked everyone for diligently carrying out their tasks and official duties during the passing year.
After the regiment’s chaplain, Rev. Andrzej Bawera, read a passage from Scripture and blessed the Christmas Eve dishes, the guests and soldiers shared the Christmas wafer and exchanged Christmas and New Year wishes.
