On the Gazeta Wyborcza website, we read:

Court employees are on strike. They want to fight for the pay rises promised earlier. Court administrative staff, court reporters and judges’ assistants are taking sick leave on a massive scale.

What is it like in Bolesławiec?

It appears that work at the Bolesławiec court will proceed without disruptions. As Tomasz Skowron, spokesperson for the District Court in Jelenia Góra, informed us, everyone was working on Monday, 10 December; there were no sick-leave absences at our court.

It is not yet known whether this situation will change. We will return to the subject.

Gazeta Wyborcza:

As part of their protest, court employees are taking sick leave, just as police officers did. In this way, they want to demand pay rises. Trade unions emphasize that they do not support this form of protest, while administrative staff, court reporters and judges’ assistants are organizing independently via the Internet.

What do you think? Do you support the protests in the courts? We invite you to join the discussion.
