During the night of December 7–8, district officers from the Bolesławiec police detained a 60-year-old man on one of the streets of the City of Ceramics who was driving a car with 2.2 per mille of alcohol in his breath.

Moreover, by getting behind the wheel, the man violated a court-imposed driving ban that was in effect until June 2019.

The 60-year-old resident of Bolesławiec will now answer for two offenses: driving while intoxicated and violating the court-imposed ban.

The man could face up to five years in prison.
