Bolesławiec criminal investigators established the identity of the thief who stole a saw worth PLN 1,000. The crime took place on November 26 in the Nowogrodziec commune. The owner forgot about the tool and left it in the yard. When he returned for the saw, it was no longer there.
Officers quickly established who had committed the theft. A resident of the Nowogrodziec commune was arrested the very next day. Police officers found the stolen property in his home.
The saw was returned to its owner. The perpetrator was charged with theft. He could now face up to five years in prison.
