On Sunday, November 25, at around 9:00 a.m., officers from the Bolesławiec traffic police stopped an intoxicated driver who drove into a roadside ditch in the Nowogrodziec municipality.

The 44-year-old resident of Lubań County, driving a Mercedes, was completely drunk—he had 2.6 promille of alcohol in his exhaled air.

That same day, at approximately 5:00 p.m., on Grunwaldzka Street in Bolesławiec, a 56-year-old driver caused a road collision by rear-ending a car.

The third person arrested—a 33-year-old resident of Bolesławiec—was caught by uniformed officers after 9:00 p.m. on Kaszubska Street.

The last two drivers got behind the wheel with 2.5 promille of alcohol in their exhaled air.

All three now face up to two years in prison.
