Lubin criminal investigators arrested three people suspected of possessing drugs and illegally possessing a firearm. Those arrested are two men, aged 20 and 29, and an 18-year-old woman. All three are residents of Lubin. (The suspects were taken to police custody.)

Officers seized more than 800 portions of amphetamine and nearly 600 ecstasy tablets. Electronic scales used to portion narcotics were also found in the suspects’ homes, along with a firearm for which the suspects did not have a permit.

Police are currently investigating all the circumstances of the case in detail, including where the arrested individuals obtained the narcotics and who they were intended for. They are also determining whether the seized firearm had previously been used to commit crimes.

At the prosecutor’s request, two of the arrested men were placed in pre-trial detention by the court. The suspects could face up to 12 years in prison.
