The project is being joined by 13 partners from the Lower Silesia and Saxony border region: local government units and scientific and research institutions.
The project aims to bring the shared European cultural heritage closer to the public by developing cultural tourism within the city’s historic centre. As a result, interest among domestic and foreign tourists in Bolesławiec’s Old Town is expected to increase. The project also continues the revitalization of the city’s Old Town, which will become a more attractive place for residents through an expanded cultural offering and improved public-space appeal, achieved by introducing artistic installations into the historic centre of Bolesławiec that creatively develop the city’s historic ceramic traditions.
Residents and tourists will take part in events featuring concerts, urban games, demonstrations of traditional arts and crafts, an exhibition and a local-products fair.
Total project value: EUR 1,033,521, including EUR 32,317 for the Municipality of Bolesławiec.
Total requested project funding: EUR 878,067, including EUR 27,469 for the Municipality of Bolesławiec.
