The results can be viewed on the websites www.naszepowietrze.pl, www.syngeos.pl, by clicking the “Panel” tab and selecting Bolesławiec on the map, or by using the mobile phone application.
The sensor system reads air measurement results across the city. The devices provide information about air temperature, humidity and pressure, as well as concentrations of PM2.5 particulate matter (i.e. particles with a diameter of less than 2.5 micrometres) and PM10 (with a diameter of less than 10 micrometres).
Air with concentrations of these particles exceeding the standards is polluted, and it is better to stay indoors in such conditions.
The displayed air-quality status is a real-time value, updated continuously (with a measurement every minute).
People who want to follow measurement results on an ongoing basis on their phones can install the “Syngeos” application. For Android systems, it can be downloaded from the Play Store. The application is also available to iOS users.
