The candidacy of Stanisław Chwojnicki of the SLD for the position of full-time member of the Bolesławiec County Board was put forward by the new starosta, Tomasz Gabrysiak.
Eleven councillors voted in favor of S. Chwojnicki’s candidacy, while eight voted against it. Two people abstained.
The Democratic Left Alliance is in a governing coalition in the County together with Independent Local Government Officials, Ziemia Bolesławiecka and part of… Law and Justice.
The votes show that a split has occurred within Law and Justice; some members of the group vote in line with the decisions of the new coalition, while the others do the exact opposite.
