The duty officer at the Lubin police headquarters received information about a domestic dispute in the Świerczewskiego housing estate. He immediately sent a patrol from the prevention department to the scene.
Outside the stairwell, the police officers noticed a bloodied man. He turned out to be 50 years old. It emerged that he had been struck by his son.
The officers immediately went to the apartment, where a 45-year-old woman was present. She, too, had been struck by her 21-year-old son, who... fled the apartment before the patrol arrived.
While the police were carrying out their duties, the aggressor returned home. He was highly agitated. He admitted to the officers that he was under the influence of drugs.
The young man was detained and taken to the police detention facility.
The 21-year-old, who has been charged with abusing his parents and has already been temporarily arrested, now faces up to five years in prison.
