The October session of the City Council is under way. Bolesławiec Secretary Jerzy Zieliński spoke, among other things, about the changes awaiting councillors in the next term. One of the more interesting changes is that every vote will be conducted using electronic devices. As a result, every resident of Bolesławiec will then be able to easily check how, for example, the councillor representing their district voted on a particular matter. (Whether they voted for, against, or abstained.)
Moreover, the voting result will be displayed on a screen in the Councillors’ Hall of Bolesławiec Town Hall, which should significantly streamline the vote-counting process. (Of course, this procedure will not apply to secret ballots.)
