As part of the implementation of the public task “Running and animating Lower Silesian Advisory Points (DPD) forming the Lower Silesian Non-Governmental Organisation Advisory Network in 2018”, we inform you that DSDP continues to operate. This time, during the period from 1 September to 15 December 2018. As in the previous period, it consists of 13 DPDs located in:
- Bolesławiec
- Góra
- Jelenia Góra
- Kłodzko
- Legnica
- Lubań
- Lubin
- Milicz
- Wałbrzych
- Wołów
- Ząbkowice Śląskie
- Zgorzelec
- Żmigród.
Advisory services for non-governmental organisations, informal groups and active citizens will cover various aspects of organisational operations and expanding civic engagement, including,
- raising funds for activities (domestic and foreign sources)
- writing and settling project accounts
- organisational reporting
- accounting basics for non-governmental organisations
- supporting and promoting the participation of non-governmental organisations in cross-sector partnerships
- civic advice, including establishing and dissolving non-governmental organisations
- conducting an organisation’s day-to-day activities
- supporting cooperation between non-governmental organisations and public institutions.
Advice on other topics, in line with the needs of a particular person seeking assistance, is also possible.
Advice may be provided in person, by telephone or online.
The DPD advisers are people with extensive experience and skills. In addition to providing advice, they will participate in local events organised in their area of operation. This is worth remembering, because through them, non-governmental organisations preparing a local event will be able to submit it to the Calendar, which will be posted on the website of the Marshal’s Office in Wrocław.
Promoting your organisation and its activities also promotes NGOs from Lower Silesia. We also invite you to take part in training sessions organised by the DPD, whose topics are always tailored to the specific needs of organisations. Recent sessions covered GDPR, the ABCs of public-task applications, fundraising and PR in NGOs, paid, unpaid and business activities in NGOs, useful cooperation tools for NGOs, local governments and active citizens, NGO accounting, and cooperation among non-governmental organisations.
Upcoming topics include social economy and senior farms.
We also inform you that, during the previous period of operation, from January to August 2018, DPD advisers provided more than 1,700 consultations. With their help, NGOs obtained a total of approximately PLN 1.3 million, they conducted training for 181 NGOs, and more than 200 individuals sought their advice on establishing an association or foundation, or creating informal groups to obtain funding for an interesting project.
We therefore encourage non-governmental organisations to benefit from the skills, knowledge and experience of DPD advisers.
The DPD in Bolesławiec operates on:
- Tuesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
