The incident occurred on October 22. Officers from the prevention department of the Lubin police headquarters went to a domestic intervention in the Lubin municipality.
At the scene, the police found a frightened elderly couple. Their 33-year-old son was also staying in the apartment. He was highly agitated. In the presence of the officers, he intimidated and verbally abused his parents, threatening to kill them.
The police determined that, in doing so, the 33-year-old violated a court order prohibiting him from approaching his parents and an order to leave the premises. (He had previously abused his immediate family.)
The 33-year-old was arrested and taken into police custody.
At the prosecutor's request, the court remanded the aggressor in temporary custody for two months. The man could now face up to five years in prison.
