This year’s championships enjoyed great popularity and prestige, which significantly increased the number of competitors representing their units. As many as 217 competitors entered the entire competition.
The level was very high. This is evidenced by the fact that the championships were organized—in cooperation with the Polish Kickboxing Association—by one of the largest and most prestigious federations in Europe: DSF Kickboxing Challenge.
The 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade was represented by Private Rafał Cyrankowski, from the command battery of the self-propelled artillery squadron. The artilleryman from the armored brigade competed in the up-to-63.5 kg weight category.
After progressing through the elimination bouts, the soldier from the self-propelled artillery squadron reached the final, where he won on points after a fierce fight, claiming the title of Polish Uniformed Services K-1 Champion.
