The incident occurred on Friday, October 18, after 2:00 p.m., on Chrobrego Street in Bolesławiec. Carbon monoxide appeared in the apartments of a tenement building near the Biedronka store.
Two fire service units and an emergency medical team were at the scene. Ten people were evacuated. Two—a woman and a child—were taken to hospital.
Firefighters ventilated the tenement building. The situation was brought under control. The officers handed the building over to its administrator.
