Military enthusiasts had reason to be pleased. On the city streets, they could see rocket launchers and howitzers that are normally stationed at military training grounds. The oath-taking ceremony of soldiers from the 23rd Silesian Artillery Brigade in Bolesławiec provided an opportunity to present the military equipment.
The young soldiers took the oath at Piłsudski Square, in the presence of their closest relatives, the Minister of National Defence, the commander of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Brigade, representatives of the city authorities and their families. The soldiers also performed a drill, which was rewarded with applause from the residents of Bolesławiec.
