Officers from the Road Traffic Division of the Bolesławiec police stopped a passenger car for inspection in the Nowogrodziec municipality. It was being driven by a 35-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County.
It turned out that the driver was subject to a court-imposed driving ban, valid until August 2020. Moreover, officers established that the vehicle had neither a valid technical inspection nor the required insurance.
The 35-year-old now faces up to five years in prison (as well as financial penalties).
