The blood donation drive was organized to mark the 100th anniversary of the Polish Army Health Service. Its aim is to preserve the memory of the Military Health Service, but above all to help people whose lives are at risk and who therefore need blood.

For several weeks, soldiers from the armored brigade have been traveling to the hospital in Żary to share this precious gift with those in need.

Some of the armored soldiers at the hospital donate blood regularly; for others, it was their first time. However, regardless of whether it was their first donation or another one, every soldier can be proud of themselves. Blood is an extraordinarily precious gift that cannot be replaced by anything.

Capt. Katarzyna Sawicka, press officer of the 10th Armored Cavalry Brigade in Świętoszów:

We encourage all soldiers who have not yet decided to take this important step to visit the blood donation station in Żary. The more liters we manage to collect, the more people will be able to enjoy life and good health.
