On Thursday, October 4, the 4th Lower Silesian Civic Congress was held in Krzyżowa near Świdnica. It was organized by the Lower Silesian Federation of Non-Governmental Organizations. Volunteer firefighters from Czerna (Nowogrodziec municipality), co-initiators of the Emergency Corridor campaign, which we have written about many times in our newspaper, received an award as part of the “Active at 100%” competition.
The firefighters were recognized as “one of the one hundred most active Lower Silesian organizations working for the benefit of the local community.” (More than 250 organizations were nominated.)
