A 19-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County broke into his former employer’s basement and stole, among other things, power tools. The teenager used information he had obtained as the victim’s employee. He knew exactly what was stored where and what was worth stealing.
Nowogrodziec police immediately took action after receiving information about the burglary. When the suspected 19-year-old saw the approaching officers, he abandoned his loot and began to flee.
To no avail. He was detained.
It turned out that the teenage burglar had already sold some of the stolen property. Measures are underway to recover the items that were sold. (The items already recovered were handed over to the owner).
The 19-year-old now faces up to 10 years in prison.
