I discovered yoga several years ago – says Katarzyna Kujawińska, and it was a bull’s-eye. The tempting vision of relaxation, calm, inner peace and reducing my hyperactivity made me try this form of activity. However, the commonly accepted stereotype about yoga quickly burst like a soap bubble. Yoga turned out to be much more than a way to relax and de-stress. What exactly? Well, yoga has many faces; everyone finds something different in it for themselves, some individual aspect of this activity that suits them.

It is not only physical activity; yoga is a balm for the body and soul. I am also a face-fitness trainer, that is, a yoga or, as some prefer to call it, facial-gymnastics instructor. There is no woman or girl in the world who would not want to preserve a youthful appearance and youthful radiance for many, many years. This often means that we begin fighting our first wrinkles as early as our youth. Face fitness allows you to look younger, smoother and more radiant without a scalpel, and by practising yoga, our body will thank us.

If you want to discover the different faces of yoga from my perspective, I invite you to the classes. We will learn to love ourselves and practise yoga as our bodies allow us to. Hatha yoga and Vinyasa yoga, Yin yoga, Iyengar yoga, including yoga for runners, yoga for stress, yoga for the spine, yoga for opening the hips, facial yoga, meditation and learning how to breathe – these are just a few of the practices I would like to share with other women like me.
