On Sunday, 30 September 2018, at 7:00 p.m., as part of the project carried out by the Parish at the Bolesławiec Marian Basilica under the name “Common cultural heritage of the cross-border area of Poland and Saxony – music brings people together”, financed by the Interreg Poland–Saxony program and the Nysa Euroregion, we will host extraordinary musicians at the basilica.
The Leopoldinum Chamber Orchestra from Wrocław will perform a special concert under the direction of Professor Tomasz Tomaszewski from Berlin.
The musicians will present an exceptional musical program consisting of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Divertimento in D major, K. 136, for strings (12’); Karol Szymanowski’s Sonata for Violin and Piano, Op. 9 (18’), with solo parts performed by Katarzyna Ilnicka on violin and Zuzanna Basińska on piano; and Antonín Dvořák’s Serenade in E major, Op. 20, for strings (30’).
Such an excellent ensemble of musicians is sure to provide a memorable experience, so we invite everyone to this concert!
Sunday, 30 September, 7:00 p.m. Admission free.
