The incident occurred after 4:00 p.m. in Kruszyn, near the intersection of Topolowa and Dębowa streets. Two vehicles—a motorcycle and a van—collided head-on.
The motorcycle was ridden by a 39-year-old man. He was the only person injured. He suffered a lower-leg fracture and was taken to the hospital in Bolesławiec.
Moreover, it emerged that the motorcyclist was subject to a court-ordered driving ban. He could now face up to five years in prison.
The van was being driven by a 37-year-old man who, in turn, was... wanted by the Bolesławiec court. (He had a fine to pay.)
