Thanks to the proper conduct of a Lubin resident and the effectiveness of Lubin police officers, another elderly person in need of help was once again placed in the hands of doctors.
The incident occurred on August 18 this year in the Świerczewskiego housing estate in Lubin. The duty officer received a report that someone was calling for help in one of the apartments. A patrol from the prevention department immediately went to the scene.
The police officers established contact through the door with the woman who needed help. The situation was serious because the victim, who suffers from heart disease, had fallen and could not move.
One of the uniformed officers decided to enter the apartment through the balcony. To do so, he climbed up the lightning conductor.
He quickly reached the ill 74-year-old woman and provided her with assistance. The elderly woman was then placed under a doctor’s care.
