The Reader wrote to the editorial office by email:

On Thursday, I reported to the Municipal Police that dead birds were lying in the park near the police station. The man who answered the phone asked me for the exact location of the dead birds, and I provided it.

And indeed. As Kamila Chalewicz-Pudłowska, head of the Bolesławiec Municipal Police, informed us, on August 9 officers received such a report from the Reader and, five minutes later, forwarded it to the administrator of the area. In this case, that was the Municipal Housing Management Establishment in Bolesławiec.

Who should cases like this be reported to?

As the commander says, cases like these can absolutely be reported to the Bolesławiec Municipal Police. (The officers receive plenty of reports of this kind, too.) The officers then determine who administers the area in question and notify that party of the need to clean up the property.
