Following an intervention by our Reader and the istotne.pl portal, the containers at the Niepodległości–Wojska Polskiego intersection were arranged so that they no longer pose a threat to road safety. Reader:
On behalf of the residents of Niepodległości Street, I would like to thank all the institutions I contacted with a request to move the containers for sorted waste located by Wojska Polskiego Avenue. I would like to inform you that the containers no longer obstruct visibility.
Let us recall. Last week, the Reader sent us photos of containers for sorted waste standing at the intersection of Niepodległości Street and Wojska Polskiego Avenue. In an email to the editorial office, they wrote:
This arrangement of the containers poses a threat to road safety because visibility has been significantly reduced. An additional problem is residents leaving rubbish next to the sorting containers.
They added:
The problem could be solved to some extent by placing the containers along Wojska Polskiego Avenue. I would like to inform you that I have repeatedly witnessed dangerous incidents in this location.
