Officers from the Patrol and Intervention Division of the Municipal Police Headquarters on Senatorska Street in Legnica stopped a Volkswagen for inspection. A 37-year-old Legnica resident was behind the wheel. Suspecting that the man might be under the influence of drugs, the officers searched the car and the driver. They found a package containing a white substance and dried plant material. It turned out to be amphetamine (30 doses) and marijuana.
Moreover, a drug test confirmed the officers’ suspicions. The 37-year-old got behind the wheel under the influence of intoxicating substances.
The man was arrested and taken to police custody. He could now face up to three years in prison.
