A Reader wrote to us: “A skatepark will be opened. And where is the crossing for the kids? How are they supposed to get there safely? The nearest pedestrian crossings are by the intersection with Dolne Młyny Street.”
As Jerzy Zieliński, secretary of the City of Bolesławiec, told us, there are several routes that can be used to reach Wiadukt Plaza. However, there will also be a direct crossing, equipped with traffic signals activated on demand. Its construction will be financed entirely by the Municipality of Bolesławiec.
Unfortunately, this will take some time, as the crossing is to be built on a national road, and obtaining all the necessary approvals from the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways can be time-consuming.
