The National Youth Olympiad is a Polish Championships-level competition for athletes under 18, in which approximately 4,500 competitors take part each year across 33 sports. This time, the Polish Athletics Championships were held from 27 to 29 July 2018 at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów.

Ten MKS Bolesłavia athletes qualified for the competition. The performance of the European Championships bronze medalist deserves particular attention – Gracjan Kozak. The athlete coached by Tomasz Markowski won two medals at the “Witches’ Cauldron.” In the discus throw (58.30 m), he won the title of Polish runner-up, while in the shot put (18.27 m), he claimed a bronze medal.

  • Dobrosława Pietrkiewicz – 21st place in the discus throw, 29.90 m
  • Grzegorz Czepiel – 22nd place in the discus throw, 37.22 m
  • Piotr Szuszkiewicz – 22nd place in the hammer throw, 43.43 m.

The athletes’ coaches are Małgorzata Markowska, Tomasz Markowski and Bartosz Gruman.
