Gliniada, White Festival and Glina Show – versions of the clay parade

The clay parade has already been held once under a changed name. Do you remember? Two years ago in Wrocław, it was called the White Festival. It was organized by the Cztery Strony Kultury Foundation. No one called their event a knockoff at the time.

Two years ago, Nowak did not attack the organizers of Wrocław’s White Festival, as he is now attacking Bolesławiec’s Glina Show. Papa Glinolud did not publicly write that the White Festival in Wrocław was a knockoff or cheap imitation, that his idea had been stolen, or that the Glinoluds belonged to him. Nor did he threaten anyone with legal action.

In 2016, we wrote about the matter in an article titled “The Gliniada renamed the White Festival cost nearly PLN 100,000”. The White Festival was an event organized in Wrocław. The foundation even paid someone to name the clay event the White Festival. Coming up with a new name and concept cost more than PLN 12,000. In short, this can be done without the slightest consequence, and there are even people who can get paid for it.

Today, in our opinion, Papa Glinolud is attacking the residents of Bolesławiec who are organizing Glina Show, while in 2016 the residents of Wrocław were able to hold the White Festival without any attacks from Nowak. In our view, this is unfair and harmful to Bolesławiec.
