While checking his house, officers found a concealed entrance to a room hidden behind a wardrobe. It turned out that 44 cannabis plants were inside. In addition, police secured more than 500 portions of marijuana. The court will now decide the man’s future. The dismantling of the cannabis cultivation operation and the arrest of a man suspected of drug-related offences were the result of joint actions by officers from the provincial police headquarters in Wrocław and the district police headquarters in Bolesławiec.

As part of operations aimed at combating drug-related crime, officers tracked down a 29-year-old living in a detached house. On the first floor, he had arranged a room where he cultivated plants prohibited by law. The entrance leading to the cannabis plants was concealed by a wardrobe with no back panel.

The 29-year-old resident of Bolesławiec commune claimed that he grew the plants for his own use because he made body-rub butter from the dried material. In the room, equipped with special lighting and a fan, police found a total of 44 cannabis plants of varying heights. In addition, officers secured more than 500 saleable portions of marijuana.

The suspect was charged with cultivating cannabis and possessing drugs. The court will now decide his future.
