In July, the man committed theft and burglary in Jelenia Góra. He entered one of the apartments through an open window while the owners were sleeping. He broke into the second one while the residents were away. He stole property worth several thousand zlotys. This included power tools, jewellery, records, household equipment, cosmetics, shoes and other items.
As a result of their investigative work and the information they gathered in the case, police identified and arrested the 30-year-old suspected of committing the above offences. They found the stolen property in the man’s apartment. The burglar kept some of the loot on shelves and some… in the refrigerator.
Moreover, it turned out that the man is a repeat offender. It is also possible that he has committed more offences of this kind.
At the prosecutor’s request, the court remanded the thief in custody for three months. The 30-year-old faces up to 10 years behind bars.
