On Sunday, March 15, the grand final of a charity computer game tournament was held at Galeria Concordia. Participants competed in “Unreal Tournament 2004” and “Juiced: Szybcy i Gniewni”. Approximately 30 people registered for the competition, with a dozen or so advancing to the finals. Jakub Suchcicki emerged as the winner.
The organizers raised approximately PLN 250. The proceeds from the tournament will be used to purchase a modern prosthesis for six-year-old Michałek Kozak from Bożejowice near Bolesławiec, who lost a leg in an accident.
– We had a great time. I hope we will do this again someday – says Krzysztof Krzemiński, the organizer of the competition.
Krzysztof thanks Radek, Angelika, Mateusz and Robert from Inet-Wlan for lending the equipment, LPK for sponsoring the prizes, Rotgraf printing house for printing the posters, and all of Via Sudetica for their support.
