The first part of the day belonged to the youngest participants. The young athletes competed in a sporting atmosphere, and at the end they received medals, trophies and prizes. A special attraction was the opportunity to play some of the matches under the floodlights of the Municipal Stadium.
What mattered most, however, were the children’s joy, the parents’ smiles and the atmosphere of celebrating together. Sporting competition brought together the players, coaches, families and fans.
In the evening, the final match was played between the BKS Bolesławiec Veterans and the Bolesławiec City Councillors and Friends team. Despite the rain, the match was played to the end, and the BKS Bolesławiec Veterans won 3–2.
The organizers thank all the children, parents, coaches, players and fans, as well as everyone who took part in the event and helped organize it.
For the BKS Bolesławiec Veterans Association, this was an important first step. The organizers want future events to bring the residents of Bolesławiec together and unite successive generations around sport, family, friendship and the history of BKS.
