At the end of June, the legal guardian of a 16-year-old reported to the Legnica police. The guardian said that while the teenager was travelling by bus, he was attacked by a peer. The young offender rendered the boy helpless and then stole his glasses. The losses were valued at nearly PLN 600. The case was taken up by officers from the Department for Juveniles and Pathology.
The officers planned to question the underage robber, but he… fell into the hands of officers from the Intervention and Patrol Department of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica. (He was carrying drugs.) The boy was placed in a Police Juvenile Detention Centre.
The officers recovered the stolen glasses. They were handed over to the victim’s mother.
The teenage thief will now face a court for his actions.
